Hey guys :)
Todays blog i will be showing you how to do a simple smokey eye. This look I like to call "grundge-glam". its fun and dark and pair it will some lashes and your good to go!
Firstly you want to prime your lid all the way up to your brow. I love to use Urban Decays Primer Potion in the colour "Sin".
Now using a large fluffy brush use a brown that is darker than your skin tone. Lightly buff this just above the crease. This is going to be you transition colour to give you that really nice blended look.
Now using a dark brown and a blending brush, buff this along the top half of your eyelid.
Using a matte black and a flat stiff shading brush pat this colour along your lash line and half way up you lid to meet that dark brown colour. Now grab a large fluffy brush and buff the dark brown and black together
Using the same flat stuff shading brush use the left over of the matte black and buff it along your lower lash line three quarters of the way. Then use a pencil brush and a shimmery white shadow and put this on your tear duct!
For a nice winged liner use an angle brush and a gel liner (I love Motives Cosmetics Little Black Dress). Also line along your waterline.
Put your mascara on and a nice pair of false lashes and DONE! Your good to go :)
Hope you enjoyed this look!

As we are all very aware of the Kardashian clan are very popular and set the trends in fashion and makeup.
Yep the name says it all…"Better than Sex". This mascara really outdoes them all! I have used numerous mascaras over the last few years and this one shocked me.
This mascara is by Too Faced Cosmetics which has a lot of really nice products such as bronzers but this is a stand out for me.
A good mascara is like a man..hard to find. Better than Sex gives you amazing volume and the length is incredible (not to mention its vegan friendly!)
As for lash separation it has a lot to do with your application ensure you wiggle the wand as you comb through the lashes this ensures lash separation and stop them clumping together. The formula is collagen-fueled which helps with the volume and the specially shaped wand gives your lashes a lovely curl.
Definitely a keeper!

With so many brands and makeup brushes on the market it can be so difficult to choose the best tools for the job. Lucky for you Ive done the research and testing for you!
If you haven't heard of Sigma before its a brand that specializes in makeup brushes! The quality of these brushes is amazing and wins the battle against the high-end brands such as Estee Lauder, MAC and Napoleon Pedris in quality and without the hefty price tag!
One of my favorite brush sets from Sigma has to be the Kabuki! These brushes are amazing at creating a flawless base of foundation and contouring with anything that is cream based.
"F80 - Flat Kabuki™: Application of liquid or cream products to flat areas of the face such as the forehead and cheeks.
F82 - Round Kabuki™: Blend mineral products onto the skin.
F84 - Angled Kabuki™: Buff cream blush or bronzer onto the skin.
F86 - Tapered Kabuki™: Apply cream and liquid foundations onto the harder to reach contours of the face.
F88 - Flat Angled Kabuki™: Blends foundation easily onto hard to reach areas of the face. Angle fits all areas of the face seamlessly. Works especially well on cheekbones and contours of the nose." - Sigma.com
You get these 5 brushes for only $96 which is a great price considering the amazing quality and longevity of these brushes! You could only get one face brush for that price at a high end store!
I love the density of these brushes and how it really presses the product onto the skin making it look more like yoir skin than makeup!
I will be reviewing plenty more of the Sigma brushes that I love also!
